Q.1. since it is a straight line

•°• By linear pair

$x + 2x + 24 = 180$

$3x + 24 = 180$

$3x = 180 - 24$

$3x = 156$

$x = \frac{156}{3}$

$x = 52$

Q.2. since CD is a straight line

•°• by linear pair axiom <COA + <AOD = 180°

$35 + x = 180$

$x = 180 - 35$

$x = 145$

y = x = 145° ( Vertically opposite angles)

Similarly, <AOD + <BOD = 180°

$x + z = 180$

$145 + z = 180$

$z = 180 - 145$

$z = 35$

Q.3. <x and < y forms linear pair,

•°• <x + <y = 180°

A.T.P. x=y + 60( put it into above equation)

$x + y = 180$

$y + 60 + y = 180$

$2y + 60 = 180$

$2y = 180 - 60$

$2y = 120$

$y = \frac{120}{2}$

$y = 60$

put x in <x + <y = 180°

x + 60= 180

x = 180 - 60

x = 120.
