Rhea hurried towards the bus stop in the pouring rain. The bus was to leave within minutes. She had to get near the bus fast but she didn't seem to reach any nearer. The faster she ran the farther she felt. The rain pounded in her head.She became paler and paler every minute. She had been running in the rain for long. But her face had been wet long before the rain touched it. She had been crying and was still crying. How could she not! Her friend Lidya, whom she thought was q good friend and had carried in her heart, suddenly seemed so evil. She had told Rhea that as she did not have curly hair and was not naughty, she didn't want Rhea as a friend. Rhea's heart couldn't stand being betrayed, so harsh and cruel was the power of ignorance. Since then, she couldn't stop herself from crying.

And now she had to get to the bus. Finally she made it. She got in and sat at a seat to rest. She stopped crying. She was feeling much better. She was going home and everything would be fine. She wouldn't have to worry about friendship once she was with her sister.
She turned to see who was her mate when she realised she had been sitting with Lidya all this time! She stared at her in horror.. But things turned out to be a twist."Oh my! You look so pale! I guess it must be for what i did at school..Well, I want to apologise; I say iy from my heart. After you left, I realised how much our friendship meant to you. So now I want to be friends and forget everything else. Okay? And I am really sorry. I just couldn't control my craze for curly hair you know.. " said Lidya and gave Rhae a hug. Rhea couldn't believe it. The rest in the evening was going well. As they say, alls well that ends well!
