according to question θ,lies in 4th quadrant as value of cos theta is given positive.and also cos theta is positive only in 1st and 4th quadrant.

so, sinθ = t  where     -1 < t < 0  [sinθ is always negative in 4th quadrant].

and tanθ = t  where    - ∞ < t < 0  [tan θ is always -ve in 4th quadrant].
