Answer :

Given : Angles 1, 2 ,3, 4 and 5

To find : Which pair of angles make the vertically opposite angles and linear pairs

Solution :

Angle 5 + Angle 1 = 180

~ It lies on a straight line so it forms a linear pair

Angle 4 + Angle 3 + Angle 2 = 180

~ It lies on a straight line so it forms a linear pair

Angle 1 = Angle 4

~ Vertically opposite angles

Angle 5 = Angle 3 + Angle 2

~ Vertically opposite angles
