Answer :-

(a+1)(6a-2)

Opening the brackets.i.e multiplying each term of the first expression with the whole second expression.

a(6a-2)+1(6a-2)

Now , simplyfying it:-

(a×6a)-(2×a)+(1×6a)-(2×1)

Anything multiplied by one gives the same no.

So , 1×6a = 6a. Likeways , 2×1 = 2

6a^2-2a+6a-2

6a^2+4a-2

We can say that (a+1)(6a-2) are the factors of polynomial 6a^2+4a-2.

What are factors?

- Factor of a no. or expression means that it is a no. which divides a no. or expression leaving the remainder 0 i.e it divides that no. or expression completely.
