~~wurtz reaction-when 2 molecules of alkyl halides are reacted with sodium metal in the presence of dry ether ,alkanes are formed having even no of carbon atoms ,along with formation of sodium halide . the reaction is
RX+2Na+RX→ R-R+2NaX
~~Fittig reaction:- This reaction is modification of the wurt'z Fittig reaction. In this reaction two haloarenes combine with sodium metal in the presence of anhydrous ether. The product is diphenyl.
~~Wurt'z fittig reaction:- In this haloalkanes and haloarenes react with the sodium metal in the presence of anhydrous ether. The product is alkyl benzene.
~~Wurtz−Fittig Reaction: this is the combination of above two reactions.
~~Aryl word is basically used for the aromatic compounds.
hope it helped.....☺️

Answer:
Explanation:
Fittig reaction:- This reaction is modification of the wurt'z Fittig reaction. In this reaction two haloarenes combine with sodium metal in the presence of anhydrous ether. ... Wurtz–Fittig reaction is the chemical reaction of aryl halides with alkyl halides and sodium metal to give substituted aromatic compounds.
