Explanation-

In example two sides are given and we have to find trigonometric ratios so we need all three sides-

That's why we used \red{Pythagoras\:theoram}.

After that we find required trigonometric ratios and Get the answer of the question.

In right angle triangle,
angle B = 90°
AB = 24 cm
BC = 7cm
we find Hypotenous AC
Using pythagoras theorem
and u will calculate AC
then after u know all the sides of these right angle triangle
u use formula of SinA,CosA,SinC,CosC

prisha1230: u understand or not
prisha1230: u learn trigonometric ratio or not
prisha1230: it's not tough basically at first u remember all the formula thenafter u will find a change in ur subjects In this question when u take angle as A infront of angle side is perpendicular and the other one is base and the longest side of the triangle is hypotenous.then u use formula Cos A = base/hypotenous SinA = perpendicular / hypotenous.
