*consider a body of mass "m" moving with velocity "v"
*let an external force"F" acting on the body in the direction of velocity.
*let its velocity changes from "v"to(v+▲v) in time "▲t" seconds
*change in momentum=▲p/▲t
*according to newtons second law
F=k (▲p/▲t)
F=km (▲v/▲t)
F=kma {::a=▲v/▲t}
F=kma
where 'k' is proportionality constant
Its value is equal to '1'
Therefore [F=ma]
