Please explain in simple language the difference between dot product and cross product.

Cross and dot product are type of production in vector form.

Dot product means you multiply components of same dimensions together whereas cross product means you have to multiply all of them with respect to each other in defined manner.


For example (5i^+6j^).(2i^+3j^) in this dot product will be

 (10i^+18j^) {Multiplied i components together and j together}

and cross product is result of its opposite production.
