Anthrax is a viral disease which affected the animals like cows, sheeps, goats,etc and before the invention of a vaccine for it every animal which was affected by it was dying and this led to a major problem and then Louis pasteur found out that a animal won't get anthrax twice and then he thought of inoculating the animals with weak and old anthrax germs and make them immune for future and finally he found a cure for anthrax.
