ITCZ IS A BROAD trough of low pressure in equatorial latitudes. in this area the trade winds converge and it lies more or less parallel to the equator but moves north or south with the apparent movement of sun

ITCZ also known as doldrums, is the area encircling Earth near the Equator, where the northeast and southeast trade windsconverge.The location of the ITCZ gradually varies with the seasons. Over land, it moves back and forth across the Equator, following the Sun's zenith point at high noon. I think it is helpful for you
