Clothes are made from different material ,we get this material from both plants and animals .Now let's know how the story of making the cloths started.
Before many years people first started using animal skin as cloth for protecting themselves from cold wind and hot sun .Then the silkworms were domesticated for the silk, slowly silk was used to prepare cloths.

fibres are used to make cloths. fibres are thin strands of thread that are woven to make fabric . the fabric is stitched to make clothes .there are two main processes of making fabric, there are knitting and weaving .knitting is usually done manually but weaving is done on machines called looms.
There are two types of fibre they are natural fibre and synthetic fibre. The fibres obtained from plants and animals are called natural fibre, for example -cotton, silk, jute etc. The fibres that are made by humans are called synthetic fibre or artificial fibre, for example -rayon, nylon, polyester, acrylic etc.
NOTE -*yarn is a long thread which is used for making fabrics .
*A fabric is a network of threads or yarn going along the length and breadth
