Please explain me the difference between Distance and Displacement???

*Distance doesn't gives direction but displacement always gives direction
*Distance are always taken as positive but displacement are taken as both negative and positive
*Distance is a scalar quantity but displacement is a vector quantity

Distance and Displacement are two easy term of Motion chapter

Distance :- it is simply defined as total path distance travelled by an object .
Distance is. Scalar quantity
Distance can be greater and equal to displacement bt can't be smaller...

Displacement :- it is known as shortest straight line between initial and final position.
Displacement is. Vector quantity
Displacement can be smaller or equal to distance bt. can't greater than distance.
