this question based on inequality ,
(2x +1)(x + 4)/x² ≥ 0
but we know ,
x²≥ 0 for all real value , for definding x ≠ 0 so, x²> 0 for all real value
(2x +1)(x +4) ≥ 0
equate (2x +1) = 0 => x = -1/2
(x +4) = 0 => x = -4
put wave curve line ,
see the figure
then you find answer
x € ( -∞ , -4 ] U [ -1/2 , 0) U ( 0 , ∞ )
