Sound spreads through air as a longitudinal wave. The velocity of sound is controlled by the properties of the air, and not by the recurrence or sufficiency of the sound. Sound waves, and in addition most different sorts of waves, can be depicted regarding the accompanying fundamental wave wonders. Sound is a grouping of rushes of weight which spreads through compressible media, for example, air or water. Amid their proliferation, waves can be reflected, refracted, or attentuated by the medium. The reason for this test is to inspect what impact the attributes of the medium have on sound. All media have three properties which influence the conduct of sound spread:

1. A relationship in the middle of thickness and weight. This relationship, influenced by temperature, decides the velocity of sound inside of the medium.
2. The movement of the medium itself, e.g., wind. Autonomous of the movement of sound through the medium, if the medium is moving, the sound is further transported.
3. The thickness of the medium. This decides the rate at which sound is constricted. For some media, for example, air or water, lessening because of thickness is irrelevant.

Sound waves are refracted. They can be engaged or scattered, in this manner expanding or diminishing sound levels, definitely as an optical lens increments or abatements light power.
