Corporal punishment is what we need to stop. Although it is banned in many countries, it is still very much there and not only in schools but at home as well.
Even a small incidence of violence can be dangerous to child’s mental health. Children if undergo continuous thrashing cannot share the things well with their parents. It can also develop in them many social problems and sometimes they may also become violent and grow up in depression.
Corporal punishment is also a violation of personal rights, and excessive punishment can develop anger and resentment. It can also cause their confidence level low, and they can start avoiding key learning activities, sports activities, etc.
