1)X+1=0

x=-1

p(-1) =(-1)³+3(-1)²+3(-1)+1

=-1+3-3+1

= 0

therefore , remainder in this case is 0

2)x-1/2=0

x=1/2

p(1/2) =(1/2)³+3(1/2)²+3(1/2)+1

=1/8+3*1/4+3*1/2+1

=1/8+3/4+3/2+1

=1/8+6/8+12/8+8/8

=27/8

therefore , remainder in this case will be 27/8

3)X+π=0

x=-π

p(-π)=(-π)³+3(-π)²+3(-π)+1

= -π³+3π²-3π+1
