Please explain the concept of 'Alternating Current' and 'Direct Current'.

Alternating Current

an electric current that reverses its direction many times a second at regular intervals, typically used in power supplies

Direct Current

an electric current flowing in one direction only.

an electric current flowing in one direction only is called direct current.

AC is used for the Transfer of current for long distance but DC have no property like AC
