1.plants absorb water from the soil via roots and carbon dioxide from air via stomata

2.In the presence of sunlight, it get converted into glucose along with oxygen .

3.They have chlorophyll for trapping sunlight.

Photosynthesis is the process by which plant cells makes there own food in presence of chlorophyll ,carbondioxide, water and sunlight to form glucose,oxygen and water.

$\huge \bold{PROCESS}$

◼During day time when sunlight falls on the leaf , sunlight gets trapped in chlorophyll present on upper layers of mesophylls.

◼Sunlight is then utilised for manufacturing food with other elements.

◼Carbondioxide diffuses into the leaf because it have higher concentration outside than inside leaf (concentration gradient).

◼Water is absorbed from soil which with osmosis and imbibition travels up to the leaves , where it gets distributed into tissues of mesophyll.
