Let the no.of mangoes be 'x'.
Mangoes selled to first customer=x/2+1=(x+2)/2
Remaining mangoes=x-(x+2)/2=(2x-x-2)/2
=(x-2)/2
mangoes selled to second customer={(x-2)/2}/3+1=(x-2)/6+1=(x+4)/6
Now,mangoes remaining=(x-2)/2-(x+4)/6
=(3x-6-x-4)/6
=(2x-10)/6
=(x-5)/3
mangoes selled to third customer={(x-5)/3}/4+1=(x-5)/12+1=(x+7)/12
Now,
mangoes remaining=(x-5)/3-(x+7)/12
=(4x-20-x-7)/12
=(3x-27)/12
=(x-9)/4
mangoes selled to fourth customer={(x-9)/4}/5+1=(x-9)/20+1
=(x-9+20)/11
=(x+11)/20
As per given condition we get,
(x-9)/4-(x+11)/20=0
(5x-45-x-11)/20
4x=56
x=14
Hence total no.of mangoes =14
