When the tribals had to take loans bcoz of high prices of goods, tge traders used to charfe high interest rates. So poor tribals had the burden of both: loans and interest. If the crop failed ot was almost impossible to pay the loan and interst on time. So the traders used arm-twisting methods to get the money back. This is called debt trap. When the person fails to give loan and interest on time
