1.. in some plants photosynthesis occur in leaves but in some plants photosynthesis occur in the green parts like in cactus, food is prepared in its green fleshy stem

2..the green plants contain a green pigment called as chlorophyll

3..factors affecting photosynthesis are sunlight , water , carbon dioxide and chlorophyll

4..chlorophyll --->chloroplast

5..chloroplast contains thylakoids called grana (singular granum)

6..the aqueous space where grana are arranged is called stomata

7..stomata are pores by which co2 is absorbed by a plant

8..the opening and closing of stomata is regulated by guard cells

9..when guard cells become turgid, stomata opens

10..when guard cells become flaccid, stomata closes
