Explaination:-

The above paragraph is all about Inner ear. There are three divisions of our sense of hearing:

  • Outer ear
  • Middle ear
  • Inner ear

Now let's understand what the para says?

Cochlea:

  • The shell like structure as you can see in the diagram is cochlea. It looks a snail.
  • There is a fluid called cochleal fluid is present inside the cochlea.
  • We know that, the sound travels in form of vibrations. When it passed through outer and middle ear, it enters the inner ear.
  • These vibrations are converted to electrical impulses first to send it to the brain.
  • The auditory nerve carries the electrical impulses to the brain where it interprets the data.

Eustachian tube:

  • It is tube which is connected by the inner ear.
  • It controls and maintains the pressure inside the ear and the outer environment.

Lastly,

  • It is saying that ear and brain, both are responsible for maintaining the position and balance of our body while walking, doing any action.
  • There is an earlobe attached which is vestigial (No need anymore). It is richly supplied with blood vessels.
