Very easy

No. Of tiles required=surface area of the tank/ area of each tile then solve it . After solving this we get no. Of tiles. Cost of 180 tiles = 180×30 = ₹5400

heyy..

question....

is q me bol rha h ki hameed ne ek cubical water tank built kiya h lid ke sath apne ghr ke liye us tank ki outer edge h 1.5m. hameed chahta h ki us tank ki outer surface ko tiles se covered kr diya jye prr uske base me nhi sirf outer surface jiski side h 25cm jaisa ki fig me diya h. ab hme find krna h ki hameed ko kitne paise spend krne pdege tiles ke liye agr tiles ka cost h rupees 360 per dozen.

Answer...
kyuki is block ke five faces h or hameed ko usme tiles lgwani h to uske liye pehle cube ka surface area pta hona chahiye jaise ki tiles ka no. pta chl paye. to pehle hm surface area nikal lenge

edge h block ki 1.5m( chnge into cm ) = 150m

surface area = 5 ( faces ) × 150 × 150cm^2

tiles ki area = side x side = 25 × 25 cm^2

to kitni tiles lgegi ye janne ki liye hme surface area of the tank divided by area of tiles krna pdega.

= 5 × 150 × 150 ÷ 25 ×25 = 180tiles.

ab hmne tiles nikal li h to unpe spend paise bhi niklna hoga

cost of 1 dozen tiles i.e. 12 tiles ka cost h rupees 360

1 tile ka cost hoga = 360 ÷ 12 = ru 30

so the cost of 180 tiles = 180 × 30 = rupees 5400.

so total 180 tiles lgegi or unka cost hoga 5400....

hope u understand....if it did plzz mark me brainliest.....thanks...!!
