The poor labourer goes to the king of the state and says that he found this purse containing Rs. 5000 under a rock and returns it the king. But the king refuses to accept the purse . The king says that you are the worthy of this money. You are a responsible citizen of the state . No body removed the rock thinking that this was not their responsibility . But you did this caring for others . You thought about the people that they could get hurt by the rock. You should get price for your good deed . I am giving this purse containing Rs. 5000 as your reward for your honesty, caring and responsibility .

Hope this helps!!!

The village

Once upon a time, there was a village named Hamili, in the kingdom of the Mithula. A wise king ruled over it. The people of the Hamili village had become very lazy due to the advancements in their lifestyle. The king learned about the people's laziness and decided to do something.

The stone in the middle

One day people of the village noticed a big stone lying in the middle of the road. They did not know how it had come there. The stone caused much trouble to the people who passed because it was in the center and the bullock carts found it difficult to cross. The people blamed the government for not removing the stone, but no one tried to remove it. So the stone lay there for hours.

The poor laborer

A poor laborer passing by saw the stone and tried to move it. It was heavy but he moved the stone away from the center to the corner of the road. The laborer noticed a purse and on it, there was a note "For the man who removes this stone and inside there ware 5000 rupees. the Laborer was very happy and thanked the king. The message soon spread among the village people and they learned their mistake. They became industrious and lived a happy life.
