The three consecutive integers are multiplied by 2, 3, and 4 respectively. It is given that the three consecutive integers multiplied by 2, 3, and 4 respectively, add up to 74. Therefore, the smallest consecutive integer out of the three numbers is 7. Therefore, the three consecutive integers are 7, 8, and 9.

Answer:

Let the first integer be x

so, second integer will be= x+1

and, third integer will be =x+2

After multiplying 2,3 and 4 respectively, the numbers will be 2x, 3(x+1), 4(x+2)

Total of integers is 56 after multiplying.

so,

2x + 3(x + 1) + 4(x + 2) = 56 \\ 2x + 3x + 3 + 4x + 8 = 56 \\ 9x + 11 = 56 \\ 9x = 56 - 11 \\ 9x = 45 \\ x = \frac{45}{9} \\ x = 5

now, x= 5

so \\ first \: integer = 5 \\ second \: integer = (5 + 1) = 6 \\ third \: integer = (5 + 2) = 7
