First, what is zero of the polynomial?

It is nothing but a number when substituted in the place of x in a polynomial, the value will become 0.

So we need x²-1 = 0

Now try substituting the values given.

When we try substituting 1, -1 we get 0.

x²-1 = 0

(1)²-1 =0

1-1 = 0 and

(-1)²-1 = 0

1-1=0

This is happening by both numbers because, square of either positive or negative of a number is positive.

So the answer is 1, -1.

Hope you are having great time.
