volume \: of \:polygonal \:  prism \\  =  \frac{1}{3}  \times (base \: area) \times (height) \\  =  \frac{1}{3}  \times  \bold{b } \times h \\ so \\ volume \: of \: equilateral \\ triangular \: prism \\  =  \frac{1}{3}  \times (  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{4}  {a}^{2} ) \times h

 =  \frac{ \sqrt{3} }{12}  {a}^{2} h
