there are eight planets in the solar system
mercury: its the smallest planet nearest to the sun.it belongs to the inner planets
Venus : its the second planet from the sun and also the second inner planet its very similar to our planet earth.Its the hottest planet of the solar system .Sometimes Venus can be seen in the evening sky so its also called the evening star
earth: its the only planet in the solar system known to support life .Its the third planet from the sun and the largest inner planet its the only planet in which water is found in all its three forms
mars: its the reddish planet .Its the fourth and the last inner planet .Life is possible on mars and scientists are working on it
Jupiter: the largest planet of the solar system . the two red spots on the planet are actually storms going on for years .Its the first outer planet
Saturn: its the second outer planet and the second largest planet of solar system. It consist of rings made of ice around it.its the lightest planet of solar system
Uranus: this is the third largest planet of the solar system and one of the coldest planet .Winds blow fast in this planet
Neptune : this is the farthest planet of the solar system ,farthest from the sun .This is also the coldest planet

This planet has the maximum satellites.
Titan is the largest satellite of this planet.
A ring is found around this planet.

Unlike other planets it revolves from east to west. This planet has 15 satellites Ariel, Ambriel, Titania, Miranda, Oberan are the main satellites of Uranus.

This is the fourth largest planet of the solar system. It appears light yellow in colour. It has eight satellites its first satellite is Triton which is larger than moon the names of the other satellites have not yet been finalised, so they are known as and N-1, N-2, N-3......N-8.
