A coalition government is a committee of a legislative government in which various political factions participate, reducing the dominance of any individual party within that "alliance". The common reason for this composition is that no political party on its own can obtain a majority in the parliament. A coalition government might also be formed in a time of the situation of difficulty or crisis by performing a role in reducing internal political strife.
The different aspect of coalition government are;
It helps in building consensus: Every political party has its individual program and model of expansion and they want that to be implemented. Now, if every party will intend their policy to be executed and there is no agreement, PM will have to prevent and use his authority to end the long debates.
ii) Formation of government: Every political party wants its members to have a significant responsibility in the ministry. PM has to make everyone satisfied with the post they are to be rendered in order to make a common minimum program.
iii) Keep a check on the corruption. Generally, PM belongs to the political party which is the face of the alliance. If he doesn't keep track of the alliance party ministers, that can be a problem.
