*Draw line segement AB with measure 6.7 cm

*Extend it to a point C by 1 cm

*Now draw perpendicular bisector of line segment AC dividing the line segment at "O"

* Now with OA=OC as radius draw a semi circle with "O" as centre with "A" n "c" as end points

*Go back to point B and draw a perpendicular at B cutting the semi circle at "E" now BE will be equal to √6.7

*Extend a no. line from B as origin n mark BE length on the no. line
