Actually the question is incomplete

We can Prove it by using pythogorean theorem

ABsq =BCsq + ACsq ( AB X BC )

plus , Angle ZABC is 135 degree

On First draw a triangle ABC and it's altitude AD angle D=90°

make two equation by using ∆ADB and ∆ ADC

and named them

Now substitute both equation and solve

After solving you will get your answer
