The two interior opposite angles of an exterior angle of a triangle are 58° and complement of 48. Find the measure of the exterior angle.
Let's Suppose ∠ABC be the interior angle .
Let's suppose ∠ ACD be the exterior angle.
Given that :
The two interior opposite angles of an exterior angle of a triangle are 58° and complement of 48°
To find :
- Measure of exterior angle ?
Solution :
We know that ,
- ● Measure of exterior angle is equal to sum of two interior opposite angle.
Therefore , Meausre of exterior ∠ACD is ,
Hence, meausre of ∠ACD= 106°
Note : Refer to the attachment for the required angle.
- Angle is formed by two Ray's at one point.
- Angle is measured in degrees.
- Angle is drawn using protector.
Supplementary angles :
- Supplementary angles are the angles which are measured up to 180°
- For example angles (110° and 50°) these both angles are known as supplementary angles .
Complementary angles :
- Complementary angles are the angles which are measured up to 90°
- For example angles (30° and 40°) these both angles are known as complementary angles.
