Given, f(x) = x^3 - 4x^2 - 3x + 5.

Given, g(x) = x - 3.

Long-division method:

x - 3) x^3 - 4x^2 - 3x + 5( x^2 - x - 6

        x^3 - 3x^2

        ---------------------------

                  - x^2 - 3x + 5

                  - x^2 + 3x

       -----------------------------

                              - 6x + 5

                              - 6x + 18

        --------------------------------

                                          -13

Therefore, Quotient = x^2 - x - 6, Remainder = -13.
