Let R be the set of persons whose hobby is rock climbing

given n(R) = 130

let S be the set of persons whose hobby is sky watching

given n(S) = 180

then n(RUS) denotes the number of persons whose hobby is either rock climbing or sky watching i.e. who follow atleast one hobby

n(RnS) denotes the number of persons whose hobby is both rock climbing and sky watching which is given as 110.

n(U) is number of universal set which is given as 220.

now we know that,

nRUS) = n(R) + n(S) - n(RnS)

= 130 + 180 - 110

= 310-110

= 200

now

number of persons who do not have any hobby = n(U) - n(RUS)

= 220 - 200

= 20.

number of persons who follow hobby of rock climbing only = n(R) - n(RnS)

= 130 - 110

= 20.

number of persons who follow the hobby of sky watching only = n(S) - n(RnS)

= 180 - 110
