A€ B means A present in B
B c C means B is subset of C
here you see
A = { 1}
1 €A
but C = { {1} , 2, 3}
here {1} € C is correct because in set of C element {1} present not 1
1 is elements of A .

so, 1€ C is i incorrect .

abhi178: i hope you have to understand .
john44: but what if A€B,B€C than can we say A€C???
abhi178: here {1} is elements of set C not 1 . so, here we can't write 1€C
abhi178: no , A belongs to B means A present in B
john44: oh i understood
john44: thanks
abhi178: example :- A ={2} B = { 2, 3} C ={ 2, 3, 4}
john44: u explain awesome!!!
abhi178: A€B and B€C but A€ C also possible
abhi178: thanks
