1st rectangle
Length=15m
Breadth=10m
Perimeter=2(l+b)
=2(15+10)=2×25=50m
Perimeter of 1st rectangle=Perimeter of 2nd rectangle.
Let Length of 2nd rectangle=4x
and breadth=1x
Perimeter=50m
2(l+b)=50
2(4x+x)=50
5x=25
x=5m
So, Length=4x=4×5=20m
and breadth=x=5m.

sinni83: But in our book the answer at the back is coming l =20,b=5m
rohitrathee30: so It is come.
sinni83: how 25 came
rohitrathee30: 50/2=25.
sinni83: if I multiply 50X4 as per ratio given we can get answers 200 and then we can get 200 and 50 into ratio form and then we do fraction we can get 20 upon 5 it can also be right or not tell please my friend

Perimeter of the 1st rec. =2(l+b)
2(15+10)
2(25)
=50m

According to the question,
Let the sides of 2nd rec. be 4x and x
Now,
Again ATQ,

Perimeter of rec. =2(l+b)
50 = 2(4x+x)
50= 8x+2x
50=10x
x= 50/10
x=5m

Dimensions:-
4x=4 x 5
20m
x=5m.

HOPE IT HELPS YOU!

IF IT HELPED MARK AS BRAINLIEST.

sinni83: I couldn't able to understand the 3 paragraph
123123dev: Wait
123123dev: ATQ, The perimeter of 1st rectangle and the 2nd rectangle is same
