Step-by-step explanation:

Let amount of mangoes be X, and apples be Y

Then,

10x = 6y

(since amount of mangoes and apples needed are equal)

When simplified,

10x = 6y can be written as 5x = 3y

Least number which is common in multiple of 3 and 5 is 15.

So 5x = 15 & 3y = 15

Therefore, x = 3 & ý = 5

Now it's clear than she has to buy at least 3 packets of mangoes, and 5 packets of apples

So 5 * 6 = 30.

So the least number of apples = 30

Then, he should buy 10 packets of mangoes as he was intending to buy the same amount as that of the apples.

Hope it helped you.
