A teacher plays a very significant role in the pupil's life. The patience of teacher helps the student to learn by his or her errors. Helen at first was a mischievous little girl, who did not want to learn and found pleasure by vexing others,but Ms. Sullivan with patience allowed her to make follies and learn from them. Once when she got got confused to differentiate between "mug" and "water", her teacher patiently taught her over and over again ignoring her tantrums.

True love and bond should exist between a teacher and pupil, If it was not for affection between the two, Helen would have failed to learn the meaning of love. Their love fosters into a life-time companionship. The teacher is a guiding light for life .

Hence, we can conclude that Helen's teacher Anne Sullivan was everything for her.
