difference between AC and DC is
AC
(1) the current which direction and magnitude changes at the fixed interval of time.
DC
(1)the current which direction and magnitude remains constant in any time interval.
AC is preferred over DC because very less energy is lost during it's transmission.
AC -nuclear power plant, hydroelectric, thermal power plant, generator, etc
DC -battery,solar plate, etc
