To Find :-

Area of shaded region

Given :-

Length of Rectangle = 8cm

Breadth of Rectangle = 6cm

Concept to be used :-

=> Area of Circle - Area of Rectangle

Area of Circle :-

Radius of circle = 1/2 of Rec. Diagonal

Diagonal (c) : a² + b² = c²

: (8)² + (6)² = c²

: 64 + 36 = c²

: c = 10 cm

Radius : 10/2

: 5 cm

Area of Shaded Region :-

=> Area of circle - Area of Rectag.

=> ¶ Radius² - length x Breadth

=> (22 /7 x 5²) - (8 x 6)

=> 550/7 - 48

=> (550 - 336)/7

=> 214/7

=> 30.5 cm²
