1) The hallow ball will float on water when we release it.
It has more pressure when it is in a bottom of a trough. when we release it will release the pressure on it .
2)The iron ball will stay there only .

a) The ball is made of plastic and is hollow I. e. it has air inside it.
Plastic's density is less than that of water.
So, due to the effect of Buoyant Force,
It will float.
b)Solid iron ball has higher density than that of water. So, it sinks.....
Extra note : (Volume of object)*(Density of liquid)*g = Buoyant Force......
