(i) It is a broader aspect of development as it includes monetary as well as the non- monetary aspects.

(iii) Human deveIopments is the end or the final goal of all development.

Economic development

(i) It is a narrow concept as it includes only the monetary aspects.

(ii) It includes only the quantitative growth .

(iii) It is a means to achieve human development.

The relationship between nature,technology and institutions are as follows; Nature is determined by the rainfall, weather, topographic characteristics of the areas and nature do not depend on human developed resources. ... Institutions generate technology which is based on resources.

i)Depletion of resources:- Overutilization has led to the depletion of the resources for meeting the greed of few individuals. For example, over utilization of petroleum products has led to a situation where most of the countries of the world are facing energy crisis.

ii)Concentration of resources:- This has divided the society into haves and have not or the rich and the poor.

iii)Global ecological crisis:- Over-utilization of resources has led to the global ecological crisis such as global warming, depletion or ozone layer, pollution and land degradation.
