1)

The ratio of total distance traveled by an object to the total time is called average speed

The SI unit of average speed is same as speed i.e m/s

2)

SPEED :

The rate of distance traveled by an object is called speed or The ratio of distance traveled by an object to the time is called speed

The SI unit of speed is m/s

It is scalar quantity

It can't be negative or zero

VELOCITY :

The rate of displacement traveled by an object is called velocity or The ratio of displacement traveled by an object to the time is called velocity

The SI unit of speed is m/s

It is vector quantity

It can be positive , negative or zero

3)

Given ,

Speed = 60 km/hr or 16.6 m/s

Time = 30 sec

We know that ,

  \large \mathtt{\fbox{Distance = Speed × Time }}

Thus ,

Distance = 16.6 × 30

Distance = 498 meter

Hence , the distance traveled by automobile is 498 meter

5)

The negative acceleration is called redaration

The SI unit of redaration is same as acceleration i.e m/s²

Ex - When breaks are applied to a moving bicycle
