Answer:

if we take 1/a as x

1/b as y

1/c as z

then we would get

x³+y³+z³

use the formula a³+b³+c³ = (a+b+c)(a²+b²+c²-ab-bc-ca) +3abc

Given, 1/a + 1/b + 1/c = 1 . Multiplying both sides by abc

bc + ca + ab = abc……………………………………………………………………………….(1)

We have to find the value of

ab²c² + a²bc ² + a²b²c = abc (bc+ca+ab) Using eq.(1) to replace bc+ca+ab by abc

= abc . abc

But we are given that abc = 2. Substituting for abc =2,

Value of the expression

ab²c² + a²bc ² + a²b²c =2.2 = 4 (Proved)
