\frac{x-2}{x+2}+\frac{x+2}{x-2}=4

\frac{(x-2)^2+(x+2)^2}{(x+2)(x-2)}=4

Applying (a + b) (a - b) = a² - b² in denominator .

\frac{(x-2)^2+(x+2)^2}{x^2-4}=4\\\\(x-2)^2+(x+2)^2=4x^2-16\\\\x^2+4-4x+x^2+4+4x=4x^2-16\\\\2x^2+8=4x^2-16\\\\4x^2-2x^2-16-8=0\\\\2x^2-24=0\\\\2x^2=24\\\\x^2=\frac{24}{2}\\\\x=\sqrt{12}\\\\x=2\sqrt{3}
