Ans (a) cooking with open vessel on mountains takes a long time the temperature on mountain is low and the heat supplied to the vessel is consumed by the atmosphere.... So that the process of cooking becomes too late. Or slow...

Ans(b) cooking in pressure cooker takes less time as compared to cooking in open vessel.... Because anything boils when.. The pressure of its surrounding is more than that of itself... In the pressure cooker.... The pressure is very high and what we want to cook cook easily and in less time because the pressure of surrounding is more than that of object which we want to cook.....

Cooking in pressure cooker consumes a less time as compared to cooking in open vessel..

Cooking in pressure cooker also lead to saving heat energy.. Because in a open vessel... Most of the heat supplied is wasted....
