F(x)=x^3+2x^2-20x+24

Here, if we put p(x)=2then

(2)^3+2×(2)^2-20(2)+24

On simplifying

We get,

= (8)+(2×4)-(40)+(24)

=8+8-40+24

=16-40+24

I.e=40-40

=0ans.

allisquier: How do you figure out which number to plug in, and can you help me with the other 2 please? :)
