(3x)^3 = 3^3×x^3
While
3x^3 = 3×x^3

Where ^= power

iamu: see... the brackets () means everything inside the brackets is multiplied by the power inside the brackets
iamu: while in the second case..
iamu: it is 3x^3 which means that in this the power is only multiplied by x
