Let speed of car starting from A be x.
Let speed of car starting from B be y.

TOTAL DISTANCE=90 km.
SAME DIRECTION:

Therefore, distance travelled by y=9y
                  distance travelled by x= 9x

9x=90+9y
9x-9y=90

x-y=10....... Eq 1

OPPOSITE DIRECTION:
Distance travelled by y=(9/7)x
Distance travelled by x=(9/7)y

9/7x + 9/7y=90
9x+9y/7=90
9x+9y=630

x+y=70........Eq 2

Use Elimination for Eq 1 and 2,

x=40 km/hr

40+y=70

y=30km/hr

Hope it helps you friend...
